Rev. Darrius S. Graves
Executive Pastor

Darrius Graves was born on January 2, 1987 to Joy Graves and the late Tommy Jenkins. He is the proud grandson of the late Lonnie and Verdree Jenkins. His maternal grandparents are Wally Graves and the late Carolyn Graves. 


Darrius attended the public schools of Richland County School District 1 and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 2005. He furthered his education at Claflin University. While at Claflin; Darrius was inducted into the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College. 


Not only was Darrius involved in the community but succeeded at being on Claflin’s Dean’s List for three years. Darrius finished his educational career at Claflin University by graduating top in the Philosophy and Religion department and by graduating Summa Cum Laude. 


Darrius holds a Baccalaureate of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religion from Claflin University, Orangeburg SC. He has received his Masters’ of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and is also licensed by the State of South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. Darrius is a member of the Phi Alpha Organization; which is a Social Work National Honor Society.  


Since starting his educational endeavor in social work, Darrius’ passion for people has grown immensely. He has had the opportunity to intern and work in the areas of congregational social work, hospice, and with nursing and rehabilitation. Darrius is currently employed as a hospice social worker. 


Darrius is also an ordained Baptist minister and is a member of Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church; where he currently serves as Executive Pastor and a member of the Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus.


Darrius’ inspiration comes from his family, church, community, and his favorite scripture Romans 8:28; And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (KJV).
